What is the OACIQ’s role?

OACIQ is the organization responsible for regulating the real estate industry in Quebec. It is a non-profit organization that is overseen by the Quebec government. OACIQ’s main responsibilities are:

• Oversee the education and training of real estate professionals.

How is OACIQ Governed? 

OACIQ is governed by a board of directors consisting of nine members, who are elected by the members of the association. The board of directors is responsible for setting the overall direction of the organization and for making decisions on behalf of the members.

The OACIQ has a staff of over 60 employees, who are responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations of the organization. The staff is divided into two main departments: the Department of Licensing and the Department of Enforcement.
